Group changed to "open", attempting to add members who sent previous join requests fails with bug

I have a shared group that was established long ago (possibly before open groups were implemented), it long since exceeded its closed membership limit of 10, though requests to join kept piling up in my mailbox. I recently discovered I could change the membership to "open" and did so. When I went back to my inbox and tried to use the old join requests to add the backlog of would-be members to the group, the attempts failed with a bug message of the following format: "Our server has caught a bug... We have already sent an error report to ourselves, and we will be fixing this bug as soon as possible. Nevertheless, you can help us by contacting support about what you were doing before this page appeared – this allows us to fix things even quicker, and you can even check back to see how we are getting along. Please quote EID "merr-5231e14e30d32" when doing so." So there you go. Really, I would just like to either add the old requests to the newly open group, or at least easily send the requesters messages that the group is now open and they can easily go add themselves. Unfortunately, I can't even do that, since the only options given with their requests are "add" or "decline" and even the option to "add a personal message" only works when adding or declining (and I can't seem to add, and don't want to decline). It would be good to fix this so that either the person can simply have their original request approved, or so that it is easier to send a message saying "I can't add you, but the group is now open so you can go back to it and add yourself". Cheers, Carl
