Cannot add 4th group member

I created a group and have 3 other members. I invited 2/3 when I first created the group. One responded, and the other is still pending. I came back with the email of the last member to add, but it's not letting me. The 'basic' plan is for 5 members and we only have 4. Please help? Thanks! Anastasia
